Most people who play Blackjack have the perception that Blackjack shuffle machines were introduced to make the game faster. There is certainly some rational behind this belief. It certainly enables the dealer to be freed up from shuffling, which can be very time consuming. It also allows the dealer to just concentrate on dealing, as when a dealer is shuffling, you can be guaranteed the casino is not making any money on that table at all.

If you are someone who feels confident enough, you can try to play the shuffle machines to your advantage and not that of the casinos in an attempt to predict the the card sequence dealt after they have been shuffled in a shuffle machine. Whilst this is a complicated strategy, it requires you to identify the types of games being played, winners, loser, back and forth etc prior to the shuffle. Other factors include the type of card shuffle machine being used and the amount of card decks that are shuffled in the machine, that is, is it 2, 4 or 6 packs.
