Chelsea to take on Athletico in Champions League

The football world lights up tonight with a massive game in the Champions League. Premier League giants Chelsea and Athletico Madrid are set to face each other at Stamford Bridge.

The game is all the more interesting due to Chelsea’s recent form not being the best, although they are still in touching distance of top spot in the Premiership.

A win tonight will put Chelsea almost into the last 16 and this would be a great initiative for the team. The game has taken on a more interesting tone due to the absence of Didier Drogba who is sure to be missed by Chelsea.

Chelsea recently lost to Aston Villa and manager Carlo Ancelotti is adamant that they will bounce back against Athletico. Speaking to the press he highlighted the fact that Athletico has not had a great start to the season. He also said that the players were furious after the Villa game and would be well up for it against Athletico.

The odds that are on offer reflect this and Chelsea are sitting at 7/19 for a win courtesy of Coral, while sites such as Bet365, Betfred and 888 are offering odds of 4/11.

The game is just one of a few this evening and there is a cracker between the European giants of Real Madrid and Ac Milan. Check out the current odds that these sites are offering.
