Blackjack Strategy
Blackjack is most certainly one of the easiest and most straightforward games to learn. Blackjack rules are easy to understand, and most people learn the game relatively quickly. This is one of the reasons why Blackjack has become the world’s most popular casino games. Blackjack is played in every casino in the world today.
It certainly doesn’t become long before most Blackjack players realize that the house holds the edge, that is, an advantage over the player. In fact this is true of all casino games. You can however lessen the edge that the house has by implementing a Blackjack strategy.
Here are some leading tips that should be incorporated into any Blackjack strategy:
If you are dealt two 10’s, then never split them. The only way you can lose that hand is if the dealer gets Blackjack or twenty-one.
If you are dealt two Aces, or two eights, then always split your cards. This is even no matter what the dealer has in front of them.
If your hand totals 13, 14, 15 or 16, you should always stand if the dealer is showing less than 6. If however, the dealer is showing a 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K or Ace, you should always hit.
If the dealer’s cards are showing 4, 5 or 6, then if you have a hand of at least 12, you should stand.
Although Blackjack is a game of chance and it is true that the house holds the edge, a properly executed strategy will certainly see the edge lessened in your favour.
