About Progressive Blackjack
Progressive Jackpot Blackjack is simply a different variation on Blackjack that uses European Rules. Not only can you play Blackjack but you can also place a $1 side bet in an attempt to win the Progressive Jackpot.
The dealer must stand on all 17s and hit on 16. Splitting Aces is allowed but only one card is received after the split and re-splitting is not allowed. You can take insurance when the dealer’s card is Ace. If the hand is split after insurance is purchased, the hand is no longer covered and when doubling down only the original wager is covered.
The dealer does not peek for Blackjack if an Ace or Face card, including 10s is showing.
The objective of progressive Blackjack is to accumulated cards that add up to 21, or closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without going bust. Picture cards are worth 10, cards from 2-10 are worth their natural value and aces are worth either 1 or 11, which means you choose depending on what will make a better hand. If the hands are of equal value, then the deal is a push and the player’s money is returned.
